If you are thinking about buying a full-size, light-duty truck, then you may want to compare more than just the performance of the models. Infotainment is important too, and the 2022 Ram 1500 offers the fastest operating system on the market today. Compared to the 2022 Ford F-150, you can easily see which mechanism is superior.
The Ram 1500 is available with Uconnect 5 NAV. Depending on the trim level, it will be displayed on either an 8.4-inch touchscreen or a massive 12-inch one. With this interface, you can sync two mobile devices via Bluetooth at the same time. You can even create five unique user profiles for different drivers. This enables you to save setting preferences for the seat/mirror positions, music, climate, and so much more. You can also easily switch between profiles with the push of a single button. With 64GB of flash memory and an operating speed that is five times faster than previous versions, you will love getting inside this truck!
On the other hand, the Ford F-150 comes with Sync 4 and either an 8- or 12-inch touchscreen depending on the model. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, but they are not wireless as they are with the Ram. This system also isn’t as fast, nor does it enable as many user profiles.
